The hire charges for the Speedwell and Garden are reviewed in January and are effective from 1 April of that year to 31 March the following year:

Booking sessions are:

Morning: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Afternoon: 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm

Evening: 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Bookings that require use of facilities outside of these times will need prior permission and will incur extra charge.

Please read the information below carefully before you book the Hall.

• The garden can only be hired with the hall.

• Inflatables such as bouncy castles are not allowed in the hall or in the garden.

• Regular bookings are 6 or more in the same charging year and the reduction is applied from the 7th booking and thereafter.

• The named hirer is responsible for ensuring that the premises are clean and tidy at the end of their hire session and that all rubbish is removed from the premises.

• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while using the Speedwell facilities.

• The Speedwell is a non smoking facility throughout the premises and the garden.

• A guide to the capacity of the Speedwell Hall is as follows:

- Up to 60 chairs are available for seating.

- For an adult reception, party, wake or equivalent, the capacity is 30 adults.

- For a children’s party the capacity is 30 children.

- There are tables available to accommodate 30 adults or children.

• All bookings are subject to The Speedwell Hire Terms and Conditions.

• Responsibility of Speedwell Trustees: we will provide washing up liquid and washing cloths. The Hirer must provide their own tea towels and remove them at the end of their hire period.
